Colonel Rex Applegate - Soldier of Fortune Convention - 1983

Colonel Rex Applegate, seen here with Alex Wilkie (right), was a member of the O.S.S., during World War II, where he taught allied special forces how to kill an enemy quickly and silently in close-quarter combat. In 1943 he wrote "Kill or Get Killed", which is still considered the classic textbook of Western-style hand-to-hand combat.
